An e-scooter driver has died as a result of a traffic accident. The now 55-year-old died in a hospital on Saturday, according to police reports from Sunday in Berlin.
In the accident in October, the man drove on a Saturday evening on Hermannstrasse in the direction of Briesestrasse. When a then 32-year-old opened the driver’s door of his car, the scooter driver fell. After the accident he was unresponsive. According to the report, the driver alerted rescue workers from the fire brigade, who took the injured person to a hospital. The investigations are ongoing. (dpa)
