Carlo Clemens, member of the AfD federal board, supports the demand of Heinz-Peter Meidinger, President of the German Teachers’ Association:

“Mr. Meidinger addresses the famous elephant in the room. Educational research clearly points to the connection between the increasingly heterogeneous composition of the student body and disadvantages, especially for students who are strong and slow learners. In addition, there are often culturally-related integration problems and a lack of German language skills. An upper limit for schools and classes would therefore be useful for both teachers and students. However, in many cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, schools and classes with a migrant share of well over 50 percent are part of everyday life. The acute and massive shortage of teachers has meant that the classes are already overcrowded .A restructuring of the classes would therefore be extremely difficult, especially against the background of thousands of Ukrainian students moving in. Minister Feller must act immediately and present a concept for how a more even distribution of the integration burdens can be achieved through a migration quota can be ated.”
