Career
Schuler was already in front of the camera as a child. At 14 she had her first leading role in the film “Dear Brad” (2001) and was even awarded the Swiss Film Prize for it.
In Berlin she completed her acting training in 2009. There she was part of various productions at the theater and the opera. She has been a permanent member of the Schaubühne Berlin ensemble since 2017.
Since 2014, her career as an actress for film and television has been on the rise. She has already worked with a number of successful actors, for example in “Blochin – The Living and the Dead” (2015) with Jürgen Vogel or in “Twin Room (2016) with Anja Kling.
Schuler is also part of a German Netflix production: she plays a supporting role in the series “Skylines”. For this she was awarded the Grimme Prize and the German Actors’ Prize in 2020.

private life
The Berliner by choice remains true to her roots: especially in winter, the Swiss comes through in her. Cheese fondue with bread is one of her favorite dishes.
In an interview with BILD, fellow actress and friend Anna Pieri Zuercher reveals about Schuler: “Carol is authentic and a very direct person who says what she thinks. She also has a great sense of humor and is a very good singer.”
