At the “Carrera track race with dad” event, the fathers felt transported back to the 1980s.
First, the rules of the game were explained so that the children knew when and why there were penalties. Fathers did the post routes and the children were allowed to go full throttle.
The teams gave nothing away, they looked at the track and their car with a high focus. Here and there the cars flew out of the curves and the racing car had to be used quickly.
The first race was just the warm up to get a feel for the track. The second stage was about the true winner of the trophy. All teams had now improved a lot thanks to the training and nothing was really given for free. The gas pedal was pushed all the way down.
In the end, three winners were chosen. They could each look forward to a Formula 1 model car. We would like to thank the Racetrack Club Altach and the fathers for coming.
