Derived from the operation, Comptroller Juan José Serrano Mendoza reported that 13 packages were found with brochures, flyers and canvases with political propaganda against the Head of Government of CDMX, Claudia Sheinbaum.

The Comptroller’s Office indicated that during the actions, capital policemen besieged the building, preventing access. However, photographs indicate that the operation was attended by the Investigative Police who carried long weapons.

In this regard, the mayor of the demarcation Sandra Cuevas Nieves denounced a deprivation of the liberty of officials of the mayor’s office and of her person, due to the fact that the police prevented entrances and exits to the building.

Regarding the propaganda, Cuevas pointed out that “those flyers do not exist”, and that despite the images that circulate, it was the elements of the Comptroller’s Office that took them to the mayor’s office.

However, later the mayoress would explain to the media that an investigation will be carried out to determine how these flyers arrived.

The opposition mayoress also affirmed that during the audit more than 300 police officers and “beaters” arrived to intimidate officials, who denounced alleged attacks against her person.
