A body of a lifeless woman was found inside a pipe tank of water that was parked in Calzada La Virgen and Candelaria Pérez in the Culhuacán housing unit in the Coyoacán mayor’s office in the Mexico City.
These events generated a mobilization of elements of the police and emergency services together with elements of the Fire Department and paramedics from the Rescue and Emergency Medical Squad (ERUM).

The woman was found this Thursday, May 4 at 8 in the morning, by the workers of SACMEX well 18.
The woman’s body was found in well number 19 and according to the first reports, the body was discovered after they tried to fill the pipe with water, then the staff noticed the victim’s body.
The 30-year-old woman was apparently living in a vulnerable situation, and neighbors said they had seen her walking around the area in recent days.
The workers of the Mexico City Water System notified the authorities and almost immediately, the Secretariat of Citizen Security in CDMX cordoned off the area and firefighters arrived to support the work.
Some time later, they requested the services of experts from the CDMX Attorney General’s Office to remove the body and carry out the pertinent inquiries to find out if the facts correspond to a crime.

The woman appeared to be a homeless woman in her 30s.
During an interview, the pipe operator, Gerónimo Ruiz, said that the victim was a woman between the ages of 25 and 30 and living on the streets and considered that she was able to enter on her own around 4 in the morning to sleep in the water pipe.
The operator of the unit was taken before the Public Ministry to give his statement and thus continue with the investigation to clarify what happened to the woman.
