On the night of this Wednesday (4), TCL held its conference at CES 2023 and made a series of new products official to the public. The highlights are the new TCL 40 cell phones, tablets and wearables.

There were nine products presented by the company, in all. TudoCelular kept an eye on the news and tells you now.

TCL 40 Series

TCL’s new cell phone series has a total of three models: TCL 40 R 5G, TCL 40 SE and TCL 408. All of them stand out for the presence of a screen with NXTVISION technology, long battery life and the presence of a main camera of 50 MP, with Artificial Intelligence.

The TCL 40 R 5G stands out for the presence of a platform with 7 nm lithography – whose model was not detailed by the company – which supports the fifth generation mobile network.

The TCL 40 SE’s main feature is the multimedia area. The 6.75-inch screen offers a refresh rate of 90 Hz, to improve fluidity, while the sound system has stereo speakers, which expands the user’s immersion.

Lastly, the TCL 408 contains a 2-in-1 camera function, which combines the 50 MP main sensor with a macro lens in order to generate high resolution images. This model also comes with stereo sound.

TCL MOVEAUDIO Air

MOVEAUDIO Air is TCL’s new TWS headset. It has an in-ear silicone tip design, plus a rod to help it fit in your ear and charging case.

According to TCL, it was designed to “offer the best audio immersion”. The accessory also has up to nine hours of direct music playback, not counting the charge in the case – which can reach more than 30 hours.

tablets and laptop

The NXTPAPER display technology has been extended and now features two more devices: the TCL NXTPAPER 12 Pro tablet and the TCL BOOK X12 Go 2-in-1 laptop. In addition to them, the company also made the TCL TAB 8 LE official.

NXTPAPER 12 Pro and BOOK X12 Go feature a 12.2-inch screen with 2K resolution and a paper-like experience. The display is capable of filtering up to 61% of blue light that is harmful to vision, compared to common panels. There’s even eye protection hardware and software layered in, to reduce eye strain without yellowing the colors.

The tablet has a 3:2 aspect ratio and comes with an included TCL E-Pen for taking notes, sketching a drawing or ticking off to-do lists. It has an 8,000 mAh battery, an octa-core platform with 5G and Wi-Fi, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, in addition to Android 13 as the operating system.

The BOOK X12 Go has a detachable keyboard, so you can use it as a traditional notebook or as a tablet. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 platform and has up to 14 hours of battery life. To complete, there is the presence of the Windows 11 Home operating system.

The TAB 8 LE completes the trio, an ultracompact with an 8-inch HD screen, quad-core processor and 4G connectivity. It has a 4,080 mAh battery and comes with 32 GB internal storage, expandable to 512 GB via microSD card. To close, there are the front and rear cameras of 5 MP each.

wearable

Finally, TCL also presented its next generation of augmented reality glasses: the RayNeo X2 and the NXTWEAR S. The first stands out for having a binocular color display with Micro-LED technology. The screen reaches a brightness of up to 1,000 nits, with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

It comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 platform, for multiple functions such as smart navigation, automatic translation, taking photos, recording videos and playing music.

The second generates dual 130-inch high-definition screens four meters away, with Micro OLED technology and Full HD resolution.

TCL also showcased the NXTWEAR V virtual reality concept, the 236-gram weight glasses that provide 108 degrees of field of view and focus on metaverse discovery, immersive gaming or other skills.
