After giving several clues to her identity, CAF announced that the girl from the Olympic stadium in Oran had been found. Welcomed like a star, the little girl attended Algeria’s match for the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship.

After being received at Algiers airport following a trip from Oran, the little girl discovered the atmosphere before matches like an actress in her own right.
Greeted by the entire local Algerian team, flag in hand, the little girl from Oran adorned Nelson Mandela’s stadium in Baraki with her jovial smile and childlike innocence. “I’m happy to be in Algiers,” she exclaims.
