Missing furniture, packed boxes and plenty of stress: a year ago are ex-national players Dennis Aogo (35) and his wife Ina (33) emigrated to Dubai with their children Payten (6) and Princeten (2). The family previously lived in a rental house. Now it was time for a change of scenery.

But it turns out to be more complicated than expected, because the stress of moving does not leave a celebrity couple untouched.

Calm before the storm: Ina with her children Princeten (2) and Payten (6)

Ina Aogo: “In all the chaos, I totally forgot that I have to pick my daughter up from school at 3 p.m. It wasn’t until I was quiet for a moment that I realized something was missing. That was such a shock moment for me! My heart slipped into my pants. I drove to school like a maniac. Payten was already waiting for me with a member of staff from the school. I was terribly sorry.”

Luckily, daughter Payten took it with humor. But not everything else goes as planned for the Aogos during the move.

“I’m a little messy about clothes, so we need a dressing room and that’s what’s failing at the moment. Unfortunately, the custom-made product for this is not yet finished, which can take up to six weeks. Dennis and I didn’t expect that at all. Now we will probably have to live out of our suitcases longer than we thought,” admits Ina to BILD.

Nevertheless, things are luxurious in the new home. The house has 430 square meters, four bedrooms, a garden and a pool. But before the four of them can sunbathe there, there is still a lot to do and there is sometimes a bad mood.

Ina to BILD: “In all the stress, I’m sometimes a bit researcher and distribute tasks. I always regret that afterwards. But sometimes I just let Dennis do it so that the house blessing doesn’t go awry for good.”

Actually, the roles between the footballer and the influencer are clearly divided. Ina laughing at BILD: “Dennis pays, I set it up. That’s a good thing, too, because Dennis is a bit color blind. You could give him pink pillows and he wouldn’t know. I’d rather take care of the setup! But luckily we have the same taste, so we almost always agree.”
