Chavismo highlights in the mural figures of dictators who are a threat to the world

CARACAS.– Militants of the Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) – an official banner that brings together Chavismo – painted a new mural to praise the figures of dictatorial leaders who represent threats to their countries and the world with the purpose of ingratiating themselves with those regimes.

This time, the design includes Kim Jong Un (North Korea), Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping (China).

The mural is located near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the center of Caracas, in one of the headquarters of the PSUV, the party of the dictatorship. The wall already has painted portraits of other so-called “leaders of the revolution.” It is also common for figures such as the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro to be found in the graphic identity of Chavismo. However, it is the first time that they include Kim Jong Un, who is celebrating 23 consecutive years in power.

On social networks it can be seen that the design is not yet completely finished, and is framed with the phrase “Chávez in the heart of the people.”

Chavismo praises Putin

It is not the first time that the Maduro regime has linked itself to world dictators. In 2022, Chavismo supporters painted a mural in “thank you” to Vladimir Putin.

Left-wing groups erected a mural in a neighborhood of Caracas, a bastion of Chavismo, in support of Russia, questioned worldwide, for the invasion of Ukraine.

In the mural you can see the figure of what appears to be Vladimir Putin next to that of the late Hugo Chávez and in the corner a Z that has become a symbol of support for the invasion of Ukraine.
