The sad news of his death is due to a battle against cancer that was diagnosed several months ago. ‘Cheems” story began when his owner shared a hilarious photo of him sitting up, prompting laughter and amazement. In the caption of the photo, his owner commented: “I thought I had a shibainu, but this isn’t it.”
Kathy, the loyal owner of Cheemsshe adopted him when she was just a year old and, over time, established an Instagram account dedicated to sharing the visual and video adventures of her beloved Shiba Inu.
Last Friday morning, Balltze fell asleep peacefully during thoracentesis surgery, marking the end of their brave fight. Kathy expressed her feelings, explaining that they originally intended to continue with treatments such as chemotherapy after this operation, but Unfortunately, it was already late. Nonetheless, Kathy wishes her famous dog would be remembered for the joy it brought to countless users online.
In his words: “Don’t be sad, please remember the joy that Balltze brought to the world. A Shiba Inu with a round smiling face that connects you and me, he has helped many people during the pandemic and brought much joy to many of you, but now his mission is complete.”
