Winter signing Andrey Santos from Chelsea FC is expected to return to his home country shortly. According to Fabrizio Romano, the central midfielder is set to join Palmeiras on loan. A verbal agreement should already exist. Santos is scheduled to travel to Brazil in the next few days. There he signs a loan contract until the end of the year. For 1.5 million euros, Chelsea could also end the loan early in the summer.

The 18-year-old only switched from Vasco da Gama to the Blues at the beginning of January for 12.5 million euros. In England, however, he has not received a work permit for the Premier League since then. The attempt to declare Santos an indispensable player also failed. Now the ways will separate again for some time.
