Graham Potter is keen to point out that Chelsea’s poor season so far started in the summer. “Some of the experienced guys told me it was the worst preparation they’ve ever had”said the Blues coach at today’s press conference, “I don’t want to talk about it anymore. But the tour didn’t go as planned.”

Since then, Potter has been on the sidelines, but has so far performed poorly.
