SALTILLO, COAH.- This Monday at the Ignacio Zaragoza SchoolMayor Jose Maria Fraustro Siller and students held the celebration for the Saltillo Police Daywhere the work that the elements carry out daily was highlighted so that, together with the citizenry, today saltillo be the safest capital in Mexico.
“Today we celebrate the police officers who take care of us daily, our police officers who are responsible, brave, hard-working people and are very committed to Saltillo and its people, here we always recognize the great work they do”He said mayor.
The mayor commented that with the support of the Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solísduring the year that ended, the elements were provided with uniforms, equipment and technological tools such as the more than 200 smart urban camerasin addition to improving salary and benefits.
After thanking the Ignacio Zaragoza School for its participation, the mayor commented that this Monday was the first edition of the Day of the Saltillense Police, instituted in December by the council to recognize the work of those who risk their lives for the citizen security.

He led the civic ceremony of the first edition of the commemoration at the facilities of the Ignacio Zaragoza College.
At the event at the Colegio Ignacio Zaragoza, students delivered bouquets to two elements of the corporation in recognition to the work they do.
Federico Fernandez MontañezCommissioner for Security and Citizen Protection, explained to girls, boys and young people the conformation of the different groups that they have and that are at the service of the population.
“The Saltillo police are there to take care of you, so that you feel safe to go to play in the park, for that the Mayor has created many types of police, it is a whole team that wants to keep Saltillo in peace,” he pointed.
The commissioner of Security and Citizen Protection He also asked the teachers for their support to train in the childhood and youth a culture of affection and respect towards the police.
This Monday was held together with the flag honor ceremony at the Ignacio Zaragoza College.

In addition to police elements from different groups, during the event were present the brigadier general, graduate of staff and commander of the Sixth Military Zone, Gabriel Martinez Garcia; the federal deputy Jaime Bueno Zertuche; the local deputy Luz Elena Morales Nunez; Roberto de los Santos, CEO of Primary education; and José Antonio Mellado Moya, general director of the Ignacio Zaragoza School.
Also, Jorge Alberto Leyva García, councilor president of the Public Safety Commission; Manuel Jaime Castillo Garza, Councilor President of the Education Commission; Hugo Eduardo Gutiérrez Rodríguez, Director of Municipal police; and Aníbal Soberón Rodríguez, director of Social development.
