President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador assured that his government has not received a formal response from China regarding the request that he made last week on the fentanyl trafficking.

Although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China responded to the president’s request Lopez Obradorin which he denied that his country has any network dedicated to illegal traffic of this drug, the federal president said that there has been no formal communication.

“We still do not have a formal communication, a formal response and we want to establish communication with the chinese governmentwith the Foreign Ministry, with the Embassy, ​​the Secretary of Foreign Relations is already doing this to have a clear stance about the pronouncement made by the government of China”, he said in the president during his morning this Monday.
