CHP: Driver Dies After Hitting Median Bar on Highway 99

TULARE COUNTY, California – Shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, a Ford vehicle reportedly lost control and crashed into the concrete wall that divides Highway 99.

After the crash, a second car flipped in circles after colliding with the Ford that was stranded in the middle of the road at 328th Avenue in Goshen.

Both drivers were taken to hospital, however the driver of the Ford succumbed to his injuries and died shortly thereafter.

Authorities do not suspect alcohol or drugs had anything to do with the accident. The cause of this remains under investigation.
