With an emotional video, the US foreign intelligence service CIA is actively soliciting information from people in Russia. “The CIA wants to know the truth about Russia and we are looking for reliable people who can tell us that truth,” the US intelligence agency said in a video published on Telegram. “Your information may be more valuable than you think,” it said.
The CIA says it hopes to connect with people in intelligence, diplomacy, science and technology, and other fields. The US secret service is interested in all kinds of information, including political and economic ones.

The video suggests that every Russian citizen can actively do something to improve their situation and still remain a patriot – for example, by providing information to US intelligence.
The video and an accompanying text provide concrete instructions for action: Users should install a special browser such as Tor to access the dark web, as well as encryption tools that, according to the CIA, should guarantee their protection.
