Cindy Fabre: her son believed for a long time that she did not have Miss France!

In an unpublished documentary broadcast on TF1 this Saturday, December 24, Cindy Fabre said that her son believed for a long time that she had not been crowned Miss France! It did, however, happen in 2004.

An event awaited by young and old, the election of Miss France brings together a mass of viewers each year in front of its screen. This Saturday, December 17, they were a little 7 million to follow the ceremony broadcast on TF1. This evening had a special flavor for many people. First for Diane Leyre who presented her title to Guadeloupe’s Indira Ampiot, crowned Miss France 2023. But also for Sylvie Tellier who passed the baton directly to Cindy Fabre, appointed general manager of the beauty contest during the summer. Friendships lost along the way

Cindy Fabré represented the country when she was only 19 years old. A responsibility that has allowed her to take part in other competitions on an international scale, including Miss Europe (the Normande finishes 3rd runner-up) or Miss Universe (29th out of 81 candidates). Caught up in a new life, the ambassador, then a BTS student, found that some of her friends had neglected her : “What bothered me the most were my school friends. For me, there was nothing that had changed, other than the fact that I was not going to go back to school. But for me it was my classmates and all of a sudden I had no news. I said to myself that they were sulking, sulking. But with hindsight, we understand that the scarf puts a distance. (…) When we just want nothing to change with our loved ones“, she confided. Later, the pretty brunette of 37 years may have felt the same “distance” through the statements of his son’s friends.

An incredulous child

Became a mother in 2012, Cindy Fabre reveals in passing that her boy, named Elio, found it hard to believe that his mother was once the darling of the French : “My son, his friends had told him ‘Ah but your mother is a Miss France’. [Il leur avait répondu] ‘Well no, it’s my mother’, and he came back asking me ‘But you were elected Miss France?’ And I told him ‘yes’ and he told me ‘no’“. The pretty brunette therefore had to take out her crown “and then he understood“!
