Circus, reins & cotton candy at the 65th children’s carnival

The 65th Fussach Children’s Carnival started on Saturday with a small move from the new bike shop to the school square. The music club and the carnival guild provided the sound, numerous masked little girls with their relatives ran along in the bright sunshine. Mayor Peter Böhler, dressed in orange, mingled with the colorful carnival parade and generously distributed fizzers and sweets from his large trouser pockets – much to the delight of the little visitors. Once again the KFC has realized a great program in cooperation with the helping hands of other associations such as the fire brigade, parents’ association and others. Punch and Judy show as a highlight
One of the highlights was probably the Punch and Judy show, in which the little guests lived intensively. The magician Magic Martin and Nano, the hands-on circus, also provided a lot of entertainment and applause. Little princesses and superheroes, pirates and bunnies took part in the children’s carnival hype. Of course, there were also many games of skill where the children could put their skills to the test: skating on eggs and throwing balls and rings, riding pedalos and spinning the wheel of fortune and much more. The little ones especially loved the train rides and cotton candy. For refreshment for all children there was soda and fries or, if they were hungry, hot dogs and sausage with bread. Alexander Hinteregger (FKC), Thomas Bösch from the carnival guild and Wolfgang Weiß from the carnival newspaper “A’gschwemmts” were delighted with the excellent atmosphere. Visitors agreed unanimously: the children’s carnival is a great village festival for young and old.
