The squares in Herne-Mitte – how can they be better designed and used? The city investigated this question and is now presenting a concept.

The quality of stay places in Herne should be improved. Since August, the city has developed a new concept for the use and further development of public spaces in Herne. The result should be presented at the end of May.

This concept will be presented on Wednesday, May 24th, in a closing event at the event center in Gysenberg, Am Revierpark 40, starting at 4 p.m.

In the near future, Robert-Brauner-Platz will become the central square of the Pedestrian zone in Herne remodeled, according to the city. However, the improvement in the quality of stay, among other things through green elements and outdoor gastronomy, leads to restrictions on events.
