“Hattingen on foot” was again booked significantly more often. City guide Lars Friedrich is very satisfied with the results. What’s new.

City guide Lars Friedrich (54) draws a positive balance for the year 2022: “The trend of 2021 has developed further.” Last year, 2543 guests took part in the city tours of his series “Hattingen on foot”. An increase of 141 percent.

Supported by nine freelancers, Friedrich was able to offer 213 guided tours from January to December – in German, English, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Ukrainian. 60 appointments have already been booked for the new year – including the monthly rounds with the captain of the city guard.

And Lars Friedrich has more good news: “The ticket prices remain the same: Adults pay ten euros, participants up to twelve years of age five euros.” The prices for the group offers are not increasing either.

In 2023, the offer for groups will be expanded again: “There will definitely be three new tours: from April to colonial traces, from November to war and war memorials in the city area.” which spans an arc from the Peace of Westphalia to the Frankfurt National Assembly.
