Former President Mauricio Macri questioned in harsh terms the national government’s decision not to abide by the Court’s ruling that ordered the restitution of funds to the City of Buenos Aires. “There is no precedent in Argentine history of such serious ignorance of another state power,” said the opposition leader.
“The sentences are not discussed, they are fulfilled,” the former president continued in a thread of tweets. And he warned: “The disobedience of a sentence of the Supreme Court would destroy the legal continuity of the Nation and would expose us to anarchy.”

This Wednesday, the Supreme Court upheld a precautionary measure formulated by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires in the conflict over the removal of 1.2% of co-participating funds, ordered in September 2020 by President Alberto Fernández to transfer them to the Province of Buenos Aires in the midst of the police revolt that occurred in the midst of the pandemic, and ordered to hand over 2.95% of the mass of co-participating taxes.
The City and the rest of Together for Change welcomed this resolution. However, a day later, after a meeting between the Head of State and PJ governors, the Executive decided not to abide by the ruling, considering it of “impossible fulfillment”.
In another tweet, former President Macri recalled that during the first weeks of his administration, the Court issued a million-dollar ruling for co-participation. “I didn’t look for excuses, much less embarked the country on an institutional crisis,” he said. “We trust in Justice,” he completed.
When at the end of 2015, we had barely taken office, the Court issued a million-dollar ruling for co-participation, I did not look for excuses, much less embarked the country on an institutional crisis. We trust in Justice.

How other opposition leaders spoke
They are that, COUPERS. They can’t stand a united Argentina, celebrating and in peace. They feed on scenarios of conflict and confrontation to divide the Argentines. But they missed him ugly, they missed the quarter of an hour.

There is no rule of the game that is valid when the head of state behaves like the leader of a faction. This only confirms what we already knew: Kirchnerism is coming for everything. In this contempt they want to wear democracy. We will defend freedom and the Republic. pic.twitter.com/OD7YE59BG7

A real filth was to increase the political offices of PBA by 140% while 7 out of 10 children are poor in the Conurbano.
Stealing from the porteños to maintain the party of Kirchner charges is not federalism, it is a scam. pic.twitter.com/FtT17kTnzS

Alberto Fernández is rising up against a Supreme Court ruling and commits the crime provided for in art. 230 subsection 2 of the Penal Code.
It also violates the democratic system, as established by the Constitution in art. 36.
It is possible for this of POLITICAL TRIAL
