To elaborate on the subject, Alfredo Stöhwing contemplated that “I was surprised by the position of Fortaleza and its leaders. We are convinced that Juan Martin had a valid contract with us without a clause. Our position is firm and our lawyers will see the steps to follow”, they stated in this regard.
Fortaleza took the negotiation seriously.
Last Tuesday, the president of Fortaleza made it known that he was not afraid of Colo Colo’s complaint in the case of Juan Martín Lucero. “We are not afraid because we made a legally secure deal. We would not embark on a legal adventure for Fortaleza. Colo Colo is in his role, he lost his main player.
Along the same lines, he detailed how the negotiations took place. “We understand that there was a contractual weakness, the player exercised that weakness, paid the fine and was released. We are going to monitor this whole situation, we are studying this situation to close with the player”.
Even the player’s representative also spoke shooting against Colo Colo. “The first thing I want to say is that Martín (Lucero) always wanted to stay in Colo Colo. But, in addition, he pointed out that “It’s not that a huge amount of money was lost, but former president Edmundo Valladares told us not to worry about it.because the value of the dollar could be fixed during the year if there was a considerable increase (it had a value close to $1,000). Valladares promised to review the contract for the value of the dollar, but they never listened to us, despite the commitment”.
