The new project of Colo Colo Femenino

There are nine soccer players who signed these new ties with the Cacique, among which stand out Javiera Grez, Yastin Jimenez, Elisa Duran and also the young Krishna Allendewho has just been promoted to the first team.

“It is a great step for Colo Colo and for the women’s branch. Signing contracts for 2 years or more gives the player peace of mind, gives her stability, but it is also a great step in sports since it allows her to think about a long-term project. and ensure that certain soccer players are part of that process,” Daniel Morón, the club’s sports manager, explained to DaleAlbo.

Along the same lines, Enzo Caszely, director of the women’s branch, pointed out that this is a long-term plan, where the idea is also to form a base that can fight at the South American level in the coming seasons.

“We see that we have a real chance to compete this year in Libertadores, not just participate. So what we want to do as a club is for all the projection players to gain maximum experience in international tournaments, tol 2024 return to compete with good performance. That is the logic of securing players for more than one season. If the project goes as expected, the idea is that in 2025 we can fight for the Copa Libertadores title”, he detailed.

Colo Colo Femenino will return to work this Monday, where its players will undergo their respective medical examinations before starting the preseason. In addition, the announcement of the new additions is expected to face a 2023 full of challenges.
