In an interview with Cologne’s ‘Express’, the trainer says: “We have made a very clear statement: we are no longer negotiating. If the club wants me to stay, it will go on for another year.” The 51-year-old’s contract runs until the summer of 2024. The extension to 2025 is due next summer.
