According to the National Civil Police (PNC), the vehicle was driven by Friedeman and due to the distraction he lost control of the car until it hit the rear of a truck with license plates C109239 that was parked on the road.

For now it is unknown who caused the road accident, so the National Civil Police (PNC) is investigating what happened to deduce responsibilities.

Ochoa Pérez was sentenced in June 2022 to eight years in prison for the crime of embezzlement, after it was verified that he appropriated state money while he served as El Salvador’s ambassador to Honduras, in the period 2004-2009.
