PARS.- The 77 Cannes Festival raise the curtain on May 14 with The second act, a comedy by Quentin Dupieux with La Seydoux, Vincent Lindon, Louis Garrel and Raphal Quenard, the organizers announced on Wednesday.

Quentin Dupieux, 49 years old, is one of the most unique French directors, author of absurd humor, with 13 films in 17 years. His last work, presented last September at the Venice Festival, was Daaaaaali!a crazy tribute to the Spanish painter Salvador Dal.
Dupieux is also a figure in electronic music, under the pseudonym Mr Oizo.
