After the long winter break, Bundesliga club SCR Altach will start the spring season on Saturday at home in the Cashpoint Arena against LASK. Only since 2015 has the teaching practice model been a mandatory part of the training for prospective general practitioners in Vorarlberg. The teaching practice is done as part of the rotation and means working in a practice for six months at the end of the training, which is currently being done by 19 young doctors in the Ländle. In August 2018, Carmen Berti-Zambanini was the first doctor to start a compulsory teaching practice. Today she runs her own practice for general medicine in Alberschwende. dr Thomas Jungblut heads the teaching practice department, is chairman of the specialist group for general medicine and his successor in Bregenz has already been secured due to the teaching practice format.
