The animated adaptation of the novel yuri “Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou” (I’m in Love with the Villainess) has been confirmed to open in Japan this October.

The Truth News tells you that along with this announcement, a new promotional trailer for the series has been released, which will be produced by the animation studio Platinum Studio.

But that’s not all, as the official website for the Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou anime has revealed a new visual and introduced new members of the voice cast and of the production team who will participate in the series.

  • Karin Nanami as Claire Francoise
  • Aimi as Misha Jur (just announced)
  • Ikumi Hasegawa as Lene Aurousseau (just announced)

  • Minami Kurisaka as Pipi Barlier (just announced)

Production team:

  • Hideaki Oba will be in charge of directing the anime.
  • Animation studio Platinum Vision will be responsible for producing the anime.
  • Ayumu Hisao will supervise the anime scripts.
  • Youko Satou will be adapting Aonoshimo’s designs, while Hanagata will be handling the anime’s character designs.
  • Usagi to Uma will be in charge of composing the anime’s soundtrack.

The light novel Watashi no Oshi wa Akuyaku Reijou, also known abroad as I’m in Love with the Villainessis written by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata. The light novel began to be published online by publisher GL Bunko in February 2019.

In addition, the work has a manga adaptation by artist/illustrator Anoshimo. The manga was first published in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime magazine in June 2020. We just told you that Jujutsu Kaisen revealed the premiere date for its season 2.

The anime follows the story of Rei Oohashi.

Rei Oohashi, an ordinary office worker, wakes up one day to find that she has become rae taylor, the heroine of his favorite otome game, Revolution. Being surrounded by attractive men vying for her attention could be any girl’s dream.
