Guachochi.- Through a press release, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) confirmed that in Guachochi they attended a shooting, which residents captured on video.

It was through the Joint Operation deployed in the municipality of Guachochi, that on Monday afternoon, they responded to a report regarding firearm detonations on November 20th street, in the Altavista neighborhood.

The contingent made up of elements from the State Investigation Agency (AEI), the State Public Security Secretariat, the Mexican Army and the National Guard, responded quickly, moving to the aforementioned place.

It was there where they located a male person, injured by a firearm projectile, identified as Gabriel LC, 37 years old.

This person was transferred to a hospital for medical attention and was detained in the legal term of flagrante delicto for possession of a vehicle with a report of theft.

The detainee was driving a white Jeep brand truck, Grand Cherokee line, model 2017, which presented damage caused by crash and bullet impacts.

When reviewing the vehicle’s serial number on the Silver platform, it revealed that the truck had a theft report filed on March 15, 2020, in the city of Chihuahua.

Continuing with the field investigation to clarify the above fact, the troops made tours on the Guachochi-Yoquivo highway, where they located another abandoned vehicle at the height of the place known as El Lobito.

It was a pick-up truck, General Motors brand, Sierra line, 2001 model, sand color, which had impacts from a firearm projectile and had a report of theft on April 21 of the current year, in the state capital

The detainee and the insured vehicles were placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry of the Southern District District Attorney’s Office for the corresponding investigations.
