The president of the Council of Ministers, Alberto Otárola and his cabinet appeared before the Congress of the Republic in search of Parliament’s Vote of Confidence, just one day after the violent protests that left 18 dead in Juliaca.

Some congressmen such as Jorge Montoya (Avanza País) and Patricia Juárez (Popular Force) announced that they will give him the Vote of Confidence to Alberto Otárola.
