A 27-year-old Hispanic woman was beaten inside a train on the Market Frankford line, better known as El because it is elevated, northeast of Philadelphia.
It was reported that the event took place in a west direction almost arriving at the Huntingdon station at 10:15 pm last Friday.
The victim was approached by a group of female adolescents who, after exchanging impressions, fell on her with blows. The alleged attackers dismounted from the locomotive at 8th Street Station.
The incident remains under investigation. So far, no arrests have been made or images of the presumed involved have been revealed.
The investigation is still active.
