A 3-year-old boy died Wednesday after falling from a building in Alexandria, Virginia, according to authorities.
The boy fell from an apartment in the 200 block of Yoakum Parkway. Firefighters received calls about 1:55 p.m. and were on the scene within five minutes, according to the department.
Until now it is unknown why the little one fell. Alexandria police investigate his death.
