Hundreds of families crowded the beaches of the Costa Verde on December 25th, Christmas day. Especially in Agua Dulce (Chorrillos), they seemed to put together their ‘beach Christmas’, as they were still with the family, although not sharing at home but under the sun and enjoying the sand and the sea.

“We received Christmas as a family and we have also come to relax as a family”, recounted Reyna, a young woman from Tarapotina. She told Channel N cameras that she came to Lima for love and work.

They entered the sea wearing polo shirts and shorts, there were also swimmers wearing bikinis or full bathing suits and they entered the sea with their children using ring-shaped floats or dolphin figure designs.

Meanwhile, on the shore, some also enjoyed themselves with children or with their pet. In the sand, several played volleyball, putting together figures, like a group that had fun compacting the sand like a shark, which had one of its companions buried down to its neck.
