While it is not expected before the next school year, the iPhone 15 Pro is already the subject of leaks. A photo shows, for example, its lower edge, sporting a USB-C port.
Next September, unless there is an unlikely revolution in its habits, Apple will unveil its new range of iPhones. In the meantime, expect to see many rumors and indiscretions about the new features to expect, especially on the one that should be called the iPhone 15 Pro. The phone will be the most equipped and will take over from the iPhone 14 Pro.
In a tweet posted on February 16 a priori credible, we discover a supposed first photo of the lower edge of the iPhone 15 Pro. It illustrates two indiscretions already mentioned in the past: the switch to a USB-C port (constrained by European regulations) and the arrival of the titanium finish rather than stainless steel (as on the Apple Watch Ultra).
What does an iPhone look like with a USB-C port?
This shot, obviously in poor quality, allows you to see what an iPhone with a USB-C port will look like – an evolution that will have to be done regardless of the other new features that Apple will integrate into its future range. Lightning will soon be an interface of the past.

They come from CAD files, documents provided to prop designers so they can design 100% compatible cases for launch day. These CAD files allow us to discover that :
- The Lightning port would be well abandoned;
- The slices would be slightly curved, both towards the screen and towards the back. This would allow for a less abrupt design and improved ergonomics;
- The photo module on the back would be immensely thick, which prefigures the integration of new, more efficient cameras (to respond to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra);
- On the left edge, the button dedicated to volumes could be a capacitive surface.
Finally, and it was obvious, the iPhone 15 Pro will keep the Dynamic Island, nickname given to the technology that replaces the notch with better software integration.
