It seems as if everything is happening very quickly with Counter-Strike 2: the developers at Valve have published a pretty clear teaser on X (formerly Twitter) in which they ask their followers what they are planning to do next Wednesday.
CS2 will be released next week – if Valve doesn’t troll you
An obvious indication of an impending release: In the tweet from the official Counter-Strike account, the developers ask you what you’re doing next Wednesday, so on September 27, 2023might:

It has been known for some time that Valve is releasing their hotly anticipated shooter Counter-Strike 2 this summer want to publish. Summer may be over now, but the teased date is still close enough.
How realistic is that? Counter-Strike 2 has been in closed beta for several months, and many new players were allowed into the closed test phase on September 1st. So many that even cheaters are already becoming a problem.

Who needs Counter-Strike 2 anymore?
Nevertheless, CS2 seems ready for a release. However, this is directly a potential one Version 1.0
seems rather unlikely. Rather, we are expecting an open beta in the style of Dota 2. The moba started its open beta in 2011 and was therefore playable for everyone, but the official full release did not take place until July 2013.
However, Valve is also a developer who likes to annoy its fans from time to time: So it’s possible that next Wednesday you can only expect a new trailer or the announcement of the release date.
However, the fact that the shooter has been tested in closed beta for months and that many players have had access to the test phase for a long time suggests that it will be released soon.
Until then it’s time to wait and drink tea. Or better said: keep playing the closed beta (if possible) and hope that cheaters will soon be a thing of the past.
