A 23-year-old man identified as Elio Jara, a native of Monte Carlo, lost his life as a result of the serious injuries and burns he suffered when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car. His companion, Mónica G. (44), is hospitalized in serious condition.

The incident occurred around noon today on National Route 12, near the access to the Itá Porá tourist complex. Although the causes are under investigation, it was confirmed that a Ford Ecosport vehicle was involved that was driving in the Montecarlo-Eldorado direction under the command of a resident of Garuhapé, and the 250-cylinder motorcycle driven by Jara, which caught fire after the impact .

Those involved were transferred to the Samic Hospital in Eldorado, where after being examined by the doctor on duty after 12:30 pm, Jara died due to severe trauma and type B burns on 72% of the body. Her companion had burns on 20% of her body and she remains hospitalized. The driver of the car was uninjured.

The work of the Police in the place lasted after 2:00 p.m., which generated long lines of vehicles that practically reached the bridge of the Piray Guazú stream and on the Montecarlo side, the drivers chose to take a detour along a dirt road towards Eldorado.
