A 40-year-old man fell on a forest path in Bregenz-Fluh on Thursday evening around 9:20 p.m. while looking for his runaway dog ​​and crashed in the area.

After a mobile phone was located in the course of the search that was immediately initiated, the casualty was found almost 100 meters below the sidewalk there. Due to his obviously serious injuries and the impassable terrain, the man was transported to Kennelbach on a stretcher on the narrow sidewalk along the bed of the Bregenzer Ache and finally brought to the LKH Bregenz by ambulance at around 12:40 a.m. The Fluh fire brigade and the mountain rescue service were involved in the rescue operation, each with two vehicles and 13 emergency services, an ambulance with two emergency services and a REGA helicopter.
