In 2017, the General Assembly of the United Nations resolved to commemorate the International Day of Creativity and Innovation, whose objective is to promote and promote original ideas for the creation of thought paths that promote brainstorming, new creative processes, and forge an inclusive community, focused on knowledge and creativity as the integral axis of human development.
According to the UN, in the 21st century, personal and group creativity and innovation have become one of the elements of wealth for States. At present, where globalization and hyperconnectivity are daily, technological development is taking place at unprecedented rates, especially in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
AI is a field in continuous evolution, creativity and innovation being vital for its progress when generating original solutions to everyday problems, such as decision-making, promptness and opportunism, and the generation of automatic learning due to the ease of access. at the information.
At the same time, these tools are used to generate content, such as music or art, through instruments for the analysis of information and processes.
Innovation is also observed in the use of advanced algorithms for learning and solving problems; Here Israel stands out by positioning itself as the third country with the most focused companies, behind the US and China. This is because the Israeli government invests 42% of the $15 billion allocated to high-tech development, while generating an estimated 1,000 startups a year.
It is worth mentioning that Israel has focused on innovation and creativity, before they became fundamental in the economic development of countries and international fashion, being part of its success and flourishing as a technological reference. From 2011 to 2019, investments multiplied by 1,200%, going from 305 million dollars to 4,000 million dollars, the most relevant subsectors being data technology and business software development in 40% of cases, services and communications in a 30% and the health sector at 13 percent.
Israel is an attractive destination for innovation, attracting leading international companies to establish their facilities, generating an ecosystem together with local startups, estimating the presence of 370 R&D centers, among which are those developed by Google, Apple, Facebook , Amazon and Microsoft, in Tel Aviv.
The participation of these multinationals causes the concentration of information, turning it into a technological HUB for those who seek to venture into the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Given this, the Day of Creativity and Innovation is relevant, as it allows potentializing and finding new solutions to social needs; In this sense, Israel, by generating knowledge, remains open to sharing it in order to enhance well-being.
