Cristina Kirchner reappeared publicly in the middle of the strong political tension between the government and the opposition by the ruling of the Supreme Court in favor of the city of Buenos Aires for the co-participation. The vice president referred to the conflict with criticism of Horacio Rodriguez LarretaJustice in general and the highest court in particular.
“Macri modified with a simple decree what was the responsibility of the national co-participation government and he gave a lot to the government of the city of Buenos Aires, the richest in Argentina. What he took from that portion that goes to the provinces he gave to the City. And later, what had been discussed and criticized by all the governors was resolved by another decree by Alberto Fernández, but it did not remain a simple decree. This is what society does not know: there was a law of Congress that enshrined that decree and that new income distribution,” the former president began.
And he sentenced: “However, the Court ignored a law. We are at a time when a law is suspended, something unusual. Laws cannot be suspended, the only one that can do that is Congress, the one that sanctions them. The judiciary can declare it unconstitutional.
“We are facing an unlawful actas if a rule of law had disappeared”, CFK completed.

In this sense, he considered that The ruling of the Court is not “against” him: “It is against Peronism. In co-participation they are going to give the money to the City for the electoral campaign, which we already know that the head of government is going to be the candidate. They are going to increase what he has. What the city spends on plants and ferns is Quilmes’ budget for the entire year”.
In addition, he stressed that “it is necessary to go out to talk, explain and go down to make contact with the neighborhood, talk to people. People are eager to be talked to and explained.
