– I think it has been absolutely fantastic. I am left with new friendships and an incredible number of funny conversations, says Sulland to Good evening Norway after the exit.

The best conversations, she believes, came when the camera was turned off.

– That’s when everyone can be themselves 100 per cent, she smiles.

Last weekend we saw her win against the pre-favourite Stig-André Berge, but this time Ola Vigen Hattestad was too fast in the night test. The height difference she had when she met Berge was turned upside down towards Hattestad.

– I noticed a big difference. If you react the fastest, you have an advantage even if you are shorter, but you have an advantage with your height and reach, explains the former handball player.

Little sleep

What is one week on TV is in reality only one day, so Sulland got two night tests on the rap.

– It was tough because it is at night. So there was little sleep, and then I wasn’t as raw, she smiles.

Sulland wishes she could stay with him longer.

– I had so many exercises that I wanted to take part in, so it was a bit boring.

She thinks it was extra hard to succeed in the weekend’s competitions, which included counting shells and throwing a bag of peas. The theme was precision.

– It is a bit boring when you have prepared most physically. But that is part of the Master of Masters and, so I was really bad there, admits Sulland.

Too many coincidences

She thinks the weeks at the start, with topics such as “team spirit” and “precision”, have been too random.

– It should have been a bit more physical, I think. The entire list was turned upside down. Team competition is like bingo. Stig-Andre finished second, and he could well have won. It’s a bit boring when you train and want to win here, says Sulland.

Now she hopes that another woman can become the second in history to win the Champion of Champions. She is really impressed by crossfit athlete Kristin Holte.

– I have tipped Kristin since we found out who was going to be there. I’ve followed a lot of crossfit and see a lot of similarities between many of the competitions here and crossfit, smiles Sulland.
