For almost 20 years and 3,200 episodes, Ellen DeGeneres was a guest on US TV screens almost every afternoon, and her clips were clicked millions of times outside of the United States. The multi-award-winning US presenter ended her daily talk show last May – to the disappointment of her fans…

Previously, there had been reports of a hostile working atmosphere on the set of the show, the hostess had apologized and announced the end of the show.

“In the beginning I wasn’t allowed to say the word ‘homosexual’ on the show,” the presenter recalled once again as she said goodbye to the show.

New show – completely different topic

Next Thursday (January 26) DeGeneres will be 65 years old. Since the end of her talk show, she has now turned new hobbies into her profession: “Lately I’ve been making time for myself away from the cameras and I’ve enjoyed it so much that I thought I’d share some of it what I have done to you.”

After ending her talk show career, DeGeneres is now reorienting herself.

Wife de Rossi recently told The New York Times: “I think she’s such a brilliant actress and stand-up comedian that she doesn’t need this show to be creative. There are other things she could address.”
