A Cuban mother whose five-year-old daughter suffers from microcephaly and cerebral palsy is asking for help online to solve her housing problem, which is so serious that it affects her little girl’s health.
Elizabeth Perez Nunez24 years old, lives in a small room lined with zinc and a wooden front with a dirt floor in the Ortiz neighborhood, Las Yaguas neighborhood, in Ciego de Ávila.
“I had never uploaded any publication like this but I can’t take it anymore. I have gone many times to the government of my municipality and they tell me that there are no materials to even make a room for my girl,” she denounced in her Facebook.
Elizabeth shared a video that shows the place where she lives with her daughter. The recording of her was given to her social worker, who showed it to the government, but it was for fun.
