Cubana responds to criticism for offering snacks to delivery drivers in Miami: “My mission is to inspire”

The Cuban Lianet Martíwho recently posted a viral video showing his initiative to put a small refrigerator with cold drinks and snacks in the entrance of his house for delivery drivers in Miami, received both praise and criticism, to which he responded by stating that, as an influencer, his “mission is to inspire”.

The content creator, known on Instagram as @mija_mania, in a new videoclarified that his solidarity initiative of placing a refrigerator with drinks and snacks for delivery drivers had the “mission to inspire other people to do positive things”.

“But the world, for it to be a world, has to have everything,” he said, referring to the criticism he received, of which he said, “it’s even painful to read.”

Furthermore, he emphasized that these comments come “from hate and misinformation.”

According to Martí, some people criticized that his idea was not really new. In response, she noted that her mission is to inspire others, regardless of whether the initiative is original or not.

“That thousands of more people can join, whether they are content creators or not, to this beautiful cause, for those workers who are often thirsty and hungry,” she noted in her publication, explaining the reasons that prompted her to place that refrigerator to the delivery.

“I will continue to give my best and inspire others, and I hope that one day there will be more love and less hate,” Martí expressed at the end of his video in response to the criticism he recently received.

However, the content creator, beyond criticism or praise, shared the best gratitude herself on Instagram.

Martí published a video showing a delivery girl who, upon seeing the refrigerator with cold drinks and snacksthanked him for the solidarity initiative through the application.

“Oh, thank you!” the woman exclaimed. “I’m going to grab one of these little things. Oh, it’s not all bad, some Cheetos!”

Last April, Cuban tiktoker Claudia González carried out a similar initiative with delivery workers who work under the sweltering Texas sun, to whom he puts cold drinks and snacks so they can cool down.

A few weeks ago, the young woman began leaving snacks and refreshing drinks at the entrance to her home, and was surprised to see how the delivery people left her signs of gratitude.

However, some began to recommend putting the drinks cold, so he decided to change the small snack cart for a table with a table cooler.
