At the end of March, the sequel to the cult film Manta Manta will premiere in cinemas. The new teaser of “Teil zwo” is now arousing anticipation among fans.

It has been more than 30 years since Till Schweiger as Berti and Michael Kessler as Klausi flickered across the cinema screens in the film “Manta Manta”. Today the film, which was shot in many cities in the Ruhr area, has absolute cult status. Fans had to wait for the sequel for more than three decades. On March 30th, Schweiger and Co. will return to the cinema screens in North Rhine-Westphalia and Germany. A second trailer has now been released “to fuel the anticipation even further,” according to the press release. Months ago, the cult comedy was looking for extras in NRW. More than 11,000 applications were received.
Manta Manta: Springboard for Schweiger and Kessler
For Schweiger, among other things, the role in “Manta Manta” was a stepping stone for a further career. Actor Michael Kessler was also asked several times about his role as “Klausi” after the film. But not only the two are represented in the second part of the cult film.
