The Samui prison is considered a “friendly” prison for maximum sentences of 15 years” and Sancho is currently in a “calmer” internal division, in which the cells are “better” and have fewer prisoners, sources say. close to the case.

The prison director has not wanted to comment on whether Sancho has had the opportunity to meet Carlos Alcañiz, another Spaniard imprisoned in the same center.

Sancho entered jail on Monday after pleading guilty to the murder and dismemberment of Arrieta, a 44-year-old Colombian surgeon, whose first remains were found last week in a landfill on the tourist island.
