Deacon and teacher from North Miami is once again accused of inappropriately touching two other minors.
Carlos Ramirez, 51, a deacon and teacher at the “Holly Family” Catholic School in North Miami, appeared in court again with two new accusations of sexual abuse against two minors.
According to the police report in October 2021, when the victim was in the third grade, and she was 8 years old, the defendant grabbed her by the waist, slid his hands over her body and also touched the lower part of her breasts at school.
The other accusation was allegedly filed in October 2022, the defendant asked the victim to recite a prayer during mass, she stuttered and went looking for him to apologize, then Ramirez grabbed the victim around the waist, kissed her forehead and said: “okay, I love you”. Then, he touched her chest area on top of her clothes.
In his house, no one wanted to react, but his neighbors were still surprised.
Ramírez was already behind bars without the right to bail for two cases of sexual abuse against two minors aged 11 and 12, his students from the “Holly Family” school, whom he allegedly also touched inappropriately.
The Archdiocese of Miami told us that the deacon is on administrative leave while the investigation continues.
The defendant is behind bars without the right to bail and has another hearing scheduled for August 31.
