Aaron Martín and FSV Mainz 05 will part ways at the end of the season. The left-back’s agent Hector Fernandez confirmed to the ‘kicker’: “We will end the cooperation and look for other possibilities.” The Spaniard’s contract expires after five years at FSV in the summer.

In 2018, Aaron moved from Espanyol Barcelona to Mainz. In the current season, the 26-year-old defender was pushed onto the bench by new signing Anthony Caci (25). The left footer knew how to use the little playing time in the surprising 3-1 win over FC Bayern last weekend and scored the final result.
