Deputies of the Education Commission in San Lázaro approved requesting a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Leticia Ramírez Amaya, and the National Coordinator of the La Escuela es Nuestra program, Pamela López Ruiz; The appointment is to review the proper application of the operating rules, as well as the correct application of the budget in infrastructure rehabilitation and academic development issues such as study programs, teacher training and textbooks without approval.

The deputy president of the Education Commission, Flora Tania Cruz Santos de Morena, informed that a request was sent to the SEP and to the director of the La Escuela Es Nuestra program, in order to hold a working meeting with the deputies and the deputies of this instance.

For her part, Deputy Sayonara Vargas Rodríguez of the PRI commented that there is concern about the operating rules of La Escuela Es Nuestra, since they do not coincide with what the legislators established, such as the extended hours.

He proposed that forums and work tables be held, as well as a meeting with the Undersecretary of Basic Education to find out why these operating rules have a minimum percentage for extended hours.

In the same way, said meeting is sought to discuss the study plans, since some teachers have said that they do not have them, in addition to the fact that there are unapproved textbooks, coupled with the lack of teacher training.

From the Labor Party, deputy Shirley Guadalupe Vázquez Romero, considered that the rules for using La Escuela Es Nuestra are respected, through improvements decided by the Parent Participation Councils, in addition to the fact that the policy has changed, so the programs have a transformation.

He agreed on the need to meet with the director of the La Escuela Es Nuestra program and noted that comments had been received on the new challenges facing teachers.

He mentioned that there are CBTIS, CECYTS and other upper secondary schools that are already 50 years old or more and need infrastructure; however, parents are unwilling to provide support to the institution, so they need the Federation.

Therefore, the request was sent to hold meetings with said officials so that they report on the issues discussed in the Commission and clarify all those doubts about the performance and needs of the program.
