Chihuahua.— Deputy Deyanira Ozaeta, from the Labor Party, requested a 6-month license at the meeting of the board of directors of the State Congress, prior to the ordinary session.

The issue was included in yesterday’s session and the deputies will vote to authorize the request, after the PT legislator was absent from face-to-face work by the Legislative Branch since December 20.

The deputy accumulated 24 justified absences and a couple of virtual assists, in addition to 7 unjustified absences, which drew the attention of fellow legislature and the media.

Jael Argüelles Díaz, substitute for Ozaeta Díaz, protested as a member of the LXVII Legislature, yesterday, at the beginning of the ordinary session. She is 25 years old, she performs social service as a Surgeon graduated from the Autonomous University of Juárez and is the half-sister of the deputy owner.

Argüelles Díaz participated in the first generation of the Youth Parliament and since he was 15 years old he has been part of the youth cadres of the Labor Party in Ciudad Juárez.

During the act of protest, members of the Aguilar family, main activists of the PT and a political dynasty that has held legislative positions for decades at the state and local levels, as well as regidurías, were present.
